Hi!

The producers of Shark Tank also asked our family to try out for another show Minute to Win It. Should we do it? You have to do all sorts of crazy things in a minute to win money. I know I can keep three balloons in the air for a minute and get a spoon in a cup (but I'm not sure about my mom!!) I think she should keep working on Peace, Love, Trends and Kooky Beadz!! We just had professional photos taken of the kiddos. It is a big transition time for our family - we are moving to New York from Texas in a few weeks, and Ashley will be finishing elementary school and starting middle school. Today, Ashley and I dressed up in the dorkiest costumes ever imagined. I was a cowboy slash superman and Ashley had a funny white hat with a superman belt. We dared each other to go to into a restaurant wearing our silly costumes. We both took the dare. Everyone in the restaurant was staring at us like we had just had come from the circus. It was so funny.

BAD DOG!!!

I have 3 dogs at home Duke, Daisy, and Fudge. Fudge is basically the mischievous one. I brought Fudge over to my friends house who has a dog named Chico who loves to play with him. Fudge was born as a hunter. So when we couldn't find him, we rushed upstairs and found him eyeing the open guinea pig cage. Just as we darted toward him, he jumped into the cage and grabbed her guinea pig named Bam Bam. We pulled Fudge out of the cage who had Bam Bam in his mouth and was shaking him from side to side. Me and my friend started screaming. While she was pulling Bam Bam out of Fudge's grasp, I was pulling Fudge's jaw open. Finally we tugged Bam Bam out and he was whining like crazy. I felt so bad!

My Most Embarrassing Moment

When I was about 9 years old my aunt took me and my cousins to Shclitterbahn. We went on this surfing ride where it would shoot you out on a boogie board and you would try to ride the waves. Finally it was my turn! So I got on and it shot me out into the open where everybody could see me. Of course, I had to be wearing a bikini. All I remember was flipping around in the water and then I was rolling on a surface. When I opened my eyes all I heard was laughing. I looked down and my bikini bottoms were at my ankles. So obviously everybody who was watching (about 100 guys) had seen me rolling around with no bottoms on. It was really embarrassing!!!

Thanks to all who joined us for the Grand Opening Party of mag-tagz designs, L.L.C. It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many supportive friends. The kids had a blast! We just got back from a week in California. We took the kids to Disneyland and Universal Studios. Fun time, but we all caught colds and were stuck together in the same hotel room. Life with kids, right? Here's a pic from our trip!

On a happy note, mag-tagz should be in place in stores by the end of this week! They were held up in customs, but should be here by Wednesday at the latest. Yipee!

Hope you had a great Halloween! We did. My husband and I went as Mr. Krabs and Spongebob and my son was Harry Potter and my daughter was a vampire. Boy do I miss the days when she was younger and wanted to be a fairy princess!

I'm so excited about the new designs. We are doing a line of initials and a "bff" tag all with swarovski crystals which will be hand done in Hawaii. They will be darling! They should be out the end of November along with the rest of the product line.

"Tag, you're it," the Game!

Play "Tag, you're it," the game! It's a race to find the clues...and beat the game. Each tag has its own unique code. Email this package code to info@mag-tagz.com. In return, you will receive a secret clue! Here's how you win:
1) Collect 8 clues; AND
2) Figure out how these clues relate to one another!

You can also trade tagz with friends to gather more clues (if you trade, give your friend your secret clue!) The clues are out there. The hunt is on! If you solve the mystery, email your answer to info@mag-tagz.com.

I promised I'd give you a hint on this blog...all of the clues have the same thing in common. I'll give you another hint as the game progresses...

I'm in the process of working on tagz with initials with swarovski crystals and a darling "LT" tag with crystals. Both of these will be at slightly higher price point. They are so cute!

Birth of a Business

I thought it would be great to create a necklace with interchangeable pieces for fashion and fun. In the past few months, I've filed a patent for the idea, trademarked a name "mag-tagz," and started a corporation, as well as negotiated a deal with an overseas manufacturer to make the product. Whew!
